Welcome to the official website of High school  4 in Szczecin in the part devoted to partnership project “Comenius”.

    In our school we have been carrying out our School Partnerships Project “Comenius” since the last school year. We are going to continue it this school year.

    The name of the project is: “The greenness around us – the school in a garden”

    Our partner schools are high schools in Bulgaria and Turkey.

     The entertainment is very complex and involve different activities aiming at: developing natural knowledge of students, awaking their sensitivity to the surroundings and eagerness to take part in creating it, developing creativity, exploring activity, enterprise of students, improving their language skills and usage of IT.

     The main product of the project will be educational garden, which will enlarge educational offer of our school.

     The project is carried out during many subjects: geography, biology, foreign languages, literature, IT and PE.

     Thanks to the participation in the project the students are be able to get better marks, compensate school failures, integrate with their peer group, make international friendships.

During the last school year students made analysis of greenness in Gumieńce (the district of school), they had lessons with landscape designers about history of gardens and arranging green areas, they designed their own plan of the garden, they watched “Secret Garden”, they host students from partner schools and visited zachodniopomorskie with them and they took part in many other activities described with details in "news" section.

     This school year they will write literary works about greenness in foreign languages, they will create plants compositions in old wheelbarrows, baskets and other containers, they will make graffiti on the school building, and of course they will arrange the garden near the school with the help of hired companies. Additionally, they will go for a natural trip to Bulgaria and Turkey for international exchange.

     The project has been carried out by class 2a of tourist-linguistic profile with more geography and English lessons and other willing students from the school.
